2. Information we collect

When you browse homfan.com we collect anonymous usage statistics — page views, scroll depth, referrer, approximate region — through a standard analytics tool. When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, subject, and message body you provide. When you subscribe to the buyer's checklist newsletter, we collect your email address. We do not collect payment information; product purchases happen on the retailer site, not on Homfan.

3. How we use your information

Anonymous usage statistics let us see which product education pages buyers read most and where the spec sheet needs more detail. Contact form submissions are used to respond to your question. Newsletter signups are used to send the four-measure checklist plus quarterly product education notes. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties.

4. Cookies

Homfan uses a small number of functional cookies — for cart memory, anonymous usage stats, and to remember your accept-or-decline choice on the cookie banner. We do not run third-party tracking pixels or advertising cookies on this site. You can clear, block, or revoke cookies at any time through your browser settings; declining cookies does not block access to any content on Homfan.

5. Analytics

The analytics tool we use stores an anonymous visitor identifier and aggregates page-view data. It does not capture form input, payment details, or personally identifying information unless you submit it explicitly through the contact form. Data is retained for twenty-four months and then aggregated permanently.

6. Email marketing

If you join the buyer's checklist newsletter, we send the welcome email immediately and follow up roughly once per product launch. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. Unsubscribed addresses are suppressed within forty-eight hours and not used for future sends.

7. Sharing with service providers

Homfan shares limited data with the service providers required to operate the site — hosting, email delivery, analytics. Each provider is contractually bound to use the data only for the service it provides Homfan, to apply industry-standard security, and to comply with applicable privacy law.

8. Affiliate retailer links

When you click an outbound product link to a retailer, that retailer collects its own information under its own privacy policy. Homfan does not see your purchase data; we receive only anonymous click and commission reports. Review the retailer's privacy policy before completing a purchase.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request" and the email address you used on the site. We respond within thirty days.

10. Children

Homfan is not directed at children under thirteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted data through the site, email [email protected] and we will delete the record.

11. Security

Homfan applies industry-standard security to protect data in transit and at rest, including TLS encryption for all form submissions, hashed storage of email addresses on the newsletter list, and access controls limiting employee access to support tickets to the minimum required to resolve them.

12. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The current version always lives at this URL with a Last updated date at the top. Material changes will be flagged in a site banner for thirty days following the revision.
